Creek Side Performing Arts is a charitable organization whose purpose is "to enrich, educate and entertain" the community of Buffalo, Johnson County, Wyoming, United States by "providing opportunities for creative involvement in the theatrical arts".
According to its Bylaws adopted in 2018 it is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of up to nine members serving as "President", "Vice President", "Treasurer", "Secretary", "Historian", and several "Members-at-large". It is organized as a "charitable"and "educational" "non-profit" organization and thus regulated by section 501(c)(3) of Title 26 (the Internal Revenue Code) of the United States Code -- ensuring that it is free from any tax obligations and that its members may contribute their time and talents freely without financial compensation. Its board meetings are open to the general public and currently held most oftenly at 7 p.m. on the first Monday of each month at "The Lounge" of "Crazy Woman Liquors" on Hart Street in Buffalo, Wyoming. It currently stores all its theatrical equipment in five storage units in two locations in Buffalo, Wyoming.
Creek Side Performing Arts has presented or at least been involved in almost four "shows" per year since 2012. Many different Families, Individuals, Adults and -- especially -- talented Children have been positively served through these programs. Its early History is currently being re-discovered, its Present is quite challenging yet exciting, and its Future -- very much to be determined by the whole community -- is looking very bright!
