Clogging is a fun, energetic form of American folk dance. “Clog” means “time” in Gaelic – cloggers keep the time of the music by emphasizing the downbeat of the rhythm.  Similar to Tap but better!

• Class Price: $25 monthly membership fee.  Ask us about our Multiple Kid Discount. We strive to make dance affordable for everyone, ask us about our scholarships. The fee goes back into our clogging fund to pay for costumes/competitions/shows/travel.
• All ages six and up.
• Classes are every Monday at the Cowboy Carousel Center. (59 North Lobban)
• Beginner Class 5:30pm
• Advanced Class 6:30pm
• The beginning class is specifically geared toward those with little to no experience in Clogging with the focus on learning individual steps and techniques to be put into routines which will be performed.
• The advanced class is geared towards high energy dances for performances and competition.
• Dance shoes: When purchasing clogging shoes make sure the shoes are BLACK!!  We all need to have the same color for performances. There are a lot of options out there for clogging shoes, you're going to get a shoe with BUCK TAPS attached. Advanced cloggers need to get a SPLIT SOLE SHOE for doing toe stands.  The following shoes are a good option and is what the instructor wears.  Remember BLACK/BUCKTAP/SPLIT SOLE when purchasing.  If help is needed in getting a hold of shoes let us know.
