Katrinna Thomas
Katrinna has been involved in various capacities with Creek Side Performing Arts since around 2017, before officially joining the board in 2025. She often helps backstage for its productions and events, something she has enjoyed doing since participating in high school theater where she helped out with set changes and props. Katrinna can often be seen behind the sound board or lighting booth during Creek Side's productions.
Justin Waterson
Marie Verger
Marie brings over two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, artistic direction, and financial oversight. She and her family moved to Buffalo 18 years ago from California, where she and her husband Don founded a youth theater company that produced four full-scale musicals annually for 18 years at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. Under Marie’s leadership, the company earned national recognition, including a National Youth Theater Award for Outstanding Musical for Les Misérables. She served as both Executive and Artistic Director, overseeing budgets, coordinating productions, and guiding strategic planning. Marie also served on the Center’s Board of Directors, contributing to fiscal policy and advancing community engagement initiatives.
Jackie Galli
Jackie has loved community theater since she first stepped onto the stage at 10 years old as one of the brothers in a middle school production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Since then, she has been fortunate to perform at various community theaters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She minored in Theater Arts at Loyola University New Orleans, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Journalism, before moving to Buffalo in 2023 and joining Creek Side Performing Arts in 2024.
Julie Hook
Julie is a dance instructor. Her first production with Creek Side Performing Arts was in the summer of 2021 with Shrek Jr. the Musical. She has gone on to act and co-direct several plays.
Kevin Thomas
Kevin has been involved in theater in several capacities. He has been a stage hand and an actor. He has a great passion for the Buffalo Community Theater.
Don Verger
Don has over 18 years of experience in theatrical set construction, specializing in union-compliant builds and professional rigging. In California, he and his wife Marie founded a youth theater company that produced four musicals annually at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. Don built every set, including the complex Peter Pan production flown by ZFX and designed for a triple cast of 160 youth performers. His craftsmanship and logistical precision continue to support high-quality community theater.
Jeremy Jarvis
Jeremy earned a Bachelor's Degree at West Virginia University in 2005 and a Master's Degree at Arizona State University in 2007, both in Music Composition. Jeremy is a member of the Society of Composers, Inc. Jeremy plays Drums and Percussion, some Piano/Keyboard, occasionally Guitar, Sings and Dances awkwardly, and Acts generally as a Villain or a Buffoon.
